Earlier today (May 31, 2022 @ 1:20PM EDT), an internally created script used for creating new eezycloud desktop Users failed, disrupting the ability of active Users system-wide to access their Company storage.
Because digital rights-management involves applying the restored permissions to each file, even with some pretty advanced automation in place, it’s a relatively slow process. As such, the incident lasted approximately three and a half hours, with service completely restored at 4:55PM EDT.
Please rest assured that at no time were your Company files exposed to other eezycloud clients or to the internet; while you couldn’t see them, no one else could, either.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Regards,
Bob Babcock
President, Eezycloud
